Meg + Will | Seaside Wedding in Mount Eliza

“I travelled the world to find you…”

9 years after a serendipitous meeting on a London train, an ambitious Aussie guy and a passionate English girl were married at a beautiful seaside spot in Mount Eliza.

Meg and Will’s love story spans two continents, several rescue fur babies, and almost a decade. After having to postpone their epic destination wedding due to the pandemic, they were anxious to finally get married. This celebration was a special one, with a livestream set up for loved ones who couldn’t make it to Melbourne.

But let there be spaces in your togetherness,
And let the winds of the heavens dance between you.
Love one another, but make not a bond of love:
Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls.

-An excerpt from On Marriage by Kahlil Gibran
spoken at the wedding by Meg’s dear friend, Victoria

Meg and Will’s was the very first wedding where Folkstone covered both photography and videography. Thank you, Meg and Will, for trusting us to capture your love story, and for taking in stride all the ups and downs that come with planning a wedding during a pandemic. You made our job so easy, and we loved getting to know you both (and Sally!)
